Units for grinding oil/ metal swarf recycling
1. process engineering
Presently you will find 3 possibilities to realise and recycle solid cooling lubricants and the contained particulate material:
Conventional disposal
In principle, grinding debris (solid cooling lubricants and metallic cuttings) has to be disposed with costs as “hazardous waste”.
Assignment of filters
Assignment of modern filter technology or low-viscous solid cooling lubricants reduces the quantity of the grinding debris by 30%
Grinding oil recycling:
Complete separation and recycling of the solid cooling lubricants and the contained particulate material, e.g. metallic swarf.
2. Functional principle
DesbaTec`s equipments of type series GRU were developed to degrease metal swarf and to recycle lubricants.
Your swarf can be degreased up to a resiudal oil content of 0,01% by solvent extraction.
First of all the grinding debris alloy is flowed with solvent and the oils are extracted by up-stream classifying process
and/ or suspension of solid particles.
The solvent-cooling lubricant alloy, so-called residue of the extraction, is separated and purified by vacuum
distillation so that both solvent and cooling lubricant are available for reuse afterwards.
The Ex-proof type series GRU ist provided with a conical vessel* and can be installed in protection class 1 or 2.
* On customer request the GRU can be also provided with a horizontal vessel and filter baskets.
